What is included in a boiler service?


Protect area 🄽

We will make sure that the area we are working in is protected before we start, either using dust sheets or carpet protecter. Visual inspection

Visual inspections šŸ‘ļø


  • Check the boiler, pipework, flue, and ventilation for safety.

  • Look for signs of leaks, corrosion, or damage

  • The case of the boiler will also be taken off to check that the seals are all intact.

  • We will also check the size of the condense and if it has been done correctly.

Tightness test 🧪

We then do a full 4 minute tighness test to check that the gas is not leaking.

Operational check šŸ”›

Ensure the boiler starts up correctly.

Cleaning of key components 🧼

  • Remove dust, debris, and dirt from inside the boiler.

  • Clean condensate trap and pipe if applicable

Working pressure at the meter 🦾

The boiler will be put on maximum rate and the working pressure at the meter will be recorded.

Inlet pressure and gas ratešŸ’”

The inlet pressure and gas rate will then be checked to ensure that an adequate amount of gas is going to the boiler and that the gas pipe is not undersized.

Flue operatonal checks āœ…

The CO, CO2 and ratio will be recorded at Minimum a Maximum rate and will be altered at the gas valve (if needed) in accordance with the manufactures instructions.

Flue integrity šŸ 

The oxeygen will be checked in the air intake to make sure that the flue gasses are not mixing and that there are no blockages inside the flue.

Service report āœļø

You will then be given a full service report with all the relevant pictures and infomation.

Clean of work spacešŸ†

The area will then be made spotless so it's like we have never been.
